LG Household & Health Care is selling its North American Avon business as part of a portfolio restructuring that shifts resources away from direct and social selling toward K-beauty and wellness brands, including Dr.Groot, Belif and CNP. LG H&H USA signed a stock purchase agreement to sell 100% of The Avon Company to Stratford Worldwide, an affiliate of Regent, which operates Avon International outside North America. The sale price will be finalized at closing. Avon reported sharply lower revenue and a net loss in the latest year cited, while LG H&H is converting 286.3 billion won in loans to equity without a separate cash injection or ownership change.
