FlyEdge has opened a multilingual public preview of its B2B platform for tokenizing airline loyalty value, enabling airlines, travelers and media organizations to independently verify the full on-chain lifecycle from token issuance and conversion to transfer and redemption. Released in 12 languages on Aug. 20, 2026, the preview runs on StreamChain, an EVM-compatible mainnet founded by GW Lee that FlyEdge says was built for aviation loyalty. Airlines can use a token factory to issue, mint, burn and transfer loyalty tokens, with transactions verified through on-chain receipts and finality. The model leaves airlines in control of official value, permitted conversions and eligible services, while FlyEdge supplies shared authentication, ledger and settlement infrastructure. Traveler accounts use non-custodial smart accounts protected by passkeys, and network fees are sponsored, removing the need for seed phrases, gas tokens or traditional crypto wallets. The preview includes PASSPORT, SHOW, LAST CALL and LOUNGE, four traveler-facing experiences covering wallet access, aviation-focused content, seat-related experiences, token conversion and airline services. FlyEdge said it has verified 100 pilot assets and activity across the platform on-chain, with results cross-checked through a public blockchain explorer. The company stressed that the preview is not a commercial deployment by external airlines and does not claim tokenization removes airline liabilities; accounting treatment remains for each airline to determine with its auditors and regulators.
