SU Group Holdings’ Macao subsidiary, Shine Union (Macao) Limited, has secured exclusive rights to market, distribute and sell Green Light Multiplex Co. Limited’s Inspec Spider in Macao. The AI-assisted robotic system inspects and helps maintain high-mast lighting infrastructure from ground level, potentially reducing the need for workers to operate at height, road closures and operational disruption. The agreement adds a new revenue opportunity and expands SU Group’s technology portfolio. Inspec Spider can climb polygonal masts and poles up to 35 meters high, uses multiple cameras including 360-degree imaging, and incorporates AI-assisted analysis, automatic tilting and balancing, and wired and wireless controls. The system has been field-tested at Hong Kong International Airport and received a Silver Edison Award and a Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. SU Group shares fell 6.88% to $1.49 in Monday’s premarket trading, according to Benzinga Pro data.
