Cardano has initiated a formal review of CIP-0197, a proposal to add optional post-quantum protection to hierarchical deterministic wallets through a zero-knowledge proof layer. The upgrade is intended to strengthen wallet security against future quantum-computing attacks. The review follows broader community discussions involving two wallet proposals with quantum-resistance measures. Cardano ecosystem contributor Robert Phair shared a snapshot of the community governance proposal, or CIP, under discussion. ADA was trading at $0.2192, down 1.28%, according to CoinMarketCap, at the time of writing.
