NANO Nuclear Energy and Tillman Global Holdings entered a non-binding strategic commercial framework announced on Aug. 24 to evaluate, license and develop more than 2 gigawatts of advanced nuclear capacity for Tillman’s future U.S. artificial-intelligence data center campuses by the mid-2030s, scaling to 6 gigawatts by 2040. The framework designates NANO’s 15-megawatt-electric KRONOS MMR microreactor as Tillman’s preferred nuclear energy solution, but it does not obligate either company to purchase, build or deploy reactors. The targets depend on definitive agreements and regulatory approvals. NANO’s potential compensation includes an initial $5 million restricted stock grant and warrants worth up to $100 million in NANO stock, primarily contingent on binding reactor purchase commitments. KRONOS MMR remains at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission construction-permit pre-application stage. The arrangement gives NANO a potential customer pipeline and a partner that has amassed approximately $16 billion in capital since Tillman’s 2013 founding, following NANO’s memorandum of understanding with Supermicro for on-site microreactor installations.
