Ironwood went live on July 28, 2026, at block 3,428,143, when Orchard was officially sealed. Users are moving funds voluntarily through a privacy-preserving turnstile mechanism defined by ZIP-318. Orchard held about 25% of circulating ZEC when Ironwood activated. Migration had reached 79.2% in mid-August, so the latest 85% level indicates that the pace has not meaningfully slowed as the remaining balance declines. Cake Wallet and ZODL are facilitating the process for non-technical users.
