Globant (NYSE: GLOB) has appointed Fernando Matzkin as Chief Operating Officer, putting the executive in charge of evolving its operational model, translating strategy into execution and strengthening client delivery and customer success. Matzkin has spent 17 years at Globant, most recently as Chief Revenue Officer, and previously led the company’s growth as Chief Business Officer for the United States and Europe. He will also drive commercial performance across key markets and accelerate Globant’s AI transformation through AI Pods (expert-supervised, agentic service units) and Glob.AI. The appointment is intended to support Vision 2030 and Globant’s expansion into AI-native services, with the company saying its AI systems can deliver up to 80 percent faster legacy modernization and 2x improvements in time to market.
