Benchdot Markets launched on Solana Mainnet on August 24, 2026, through Arcium, an encrypted computation network that describes the product as the first digital-asset hiring prediction market of its kind. The platform calls these products "opportunity markets": companies post open roles and may offer prize pools, while scouts stake tokens on candidates they believe will be hired. Correct predictions receive a share of the prize pool, while incorrect scouts receive their stake principal back, leaving opportunity cost rather than principal loss as the primary risk. A Devnet alpha that began April 27 drew 4,000 registrations in its first week and ultimately recorded 900 unique participants across 12 markets, 276 candidate options and $7.67 million in aggregate stake volume before a single transaction settled on Mainnet. Benchdot uses multi-party computation, or MPC, to keep stake selections encrypted from validators, hiring companies and competing scouts until markets close, limiting herding and front-running. Arcium reached Mainnet Alpha in February 2026, launched its governance and utility token ARX on Binance Alpha in June, and has raised more than $7.5 million. Benchdot uses Arcium’s infrastructure and incurs computation fees in ARX, while ARX also supports governance and staking toward node operation. Solana’s throughput and low transaction costs support the platform’s frequent staking interactions.
