Mastercard Inc. (NYSE:MA) shares were up 2.69% at $596.25 on Monday after an August 2026 financial disclosure showed that President Donald Trump's investment accounts made three June purchases of Mastercard stock worth an estimated $1.2 million to $5.5 million. The filing reported more than 1,000 high-volume securities transactions valued between $78.1 million and $263.1 million for June. Trump's accounts also purchased Berkshire Hathaway, Visa and Cintas, while the largest single transaction was a sale of between $5 million and $25 million of the Vanguard Dividend Appreciation ETF. Trump reported more than $2 billion in total business income for 2025. Mastercard was trading above its major moving averages and near its 52-week high of $601.77, but an RSI of 72.60 placed the stock in overbought territory. Traders were watching resistance at $598.50 and support near $556, while the August golden cross kept the broader technical trend constructive.
