Coles Group reported underlying net profit of A$1.26 billion for the year ended June 28, up 13.7% from A$1.10 billion a year earlier and above the Visible Alpha consensus estimate of A$1.24 billion. The result was supported by stable financing cost savings, strong margin expansion and performance in its supermarkets business. Coles declared a final dividend of 37 Australian cents per share, compared with 32 cents a year earlier. Supermarkets sales revenue rose 3.7% to A$41.47 billion, slightly below the A$41.52 billion market expectation. The company said sales growth in the division during the first eight weeks of fiscal 2027 was consistent with the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026.
