Canada will announce a series of measures on Tuesday in response to the United States imposing 50% tariffs on about $200 billion of Canadian exports. The finance minister and other officials are scheduled to hold a news conference at 11 a.m. local time. Planned measures include expanded unemployment benefits and a loan program for businesses affected by the tariffs.
