Several crypto projects are scheduled to announce or implement major developments between Aug. 24 and Aug. 27, according to a calendar prepared using Elan Insights’ crypto events schedule. Pi Network will replace its flat 0.25 PI charge for each app-creation and editing operation with variable pricing based on actual artificial-intelligence resource use, effective Aug. 24, 2026. The network will not add a markup to those AI costs, while subsidies will remain available at the old rates only to developers whose applications attract sufficient numbers of real, distinct users. Eligibility can change as usage develops, and Pi said the revised model is designed to reduce spending on experiments, tests and spam applications. The change comes as PI trades near $0.09 and has lagged a broader crypto-market rally. Arbitrum is bringing tokenized U.S. stocks to its network, adding to its real-world asset narrative after Arbitrum One reached No. 2 in perpetuals with $1.48 billion in volume and $1.834 billion in open interest. Phantom will end support for Monad assets on Aug. 26, affecting wallet access but not the underlying network. Stable will deploy its v1.8.0 upgrade the same day, targeting higher throughput and more predictable transaction processing. Stellar will hold a testnet vote for Protocol 28 on Aug. 27, with the upgrade focused on smart-contract infrastructure and longer-term applications in payments and tokenization. Michaël van de Poppe said ARB is showing signs of a trend reversal and predicted the altcoin market could gain 100%-200% or more, citing bullish divergences in weekly RSI and MACD indicators.
