Thailand’s exports increased 21.6% year-on-year in July 2026, accelerating slightly from a 20.8% increase in June, surpassing forecasts of 17.8% and marking the fastest increase in three months. Last month, the Commerce Ministry maintained its forecast for export growth of 8% this year, supported by easing global tensions and strong tech demand. Thailand’s car production rose 6.12% year-on-year to 117,383 units in July, reversing a 7.55% decline in June, while domestic sales climbed 20.07% to 59,198 units and vehicle exports rose 2.39%. Imports increased 36.7% year-on-year, moderating from June’s 50.3% surge.
