Grand Korea Leisure donated 30 million won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to help repair damage caused by torrential rains in Geoje and Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province. The donation was approved on the 26th by GKL’s social value committee and will support emergency relief supplies and housing restoration for affected residents. The company and the GKL Social Contribution Foundation donated a combined 160 million won last year for recovery from wildfires and heavy rains in the Yeongnam region. GKL also gave 20 million won to the Korean Red Cross in July this year for earthquake relief in Venezuela. GKL President Yoon Doo-hyun said the company hoped residents could return to their daily lives as soon as possible.
