In a Tuesday reply that drew more than 225,000 views, Bier said he built Cashtags so users can add Solana and Ethereum charts to posts, paste contract addresses for newly minted tokens, and soon use trade buttons, while giving no timeline. The claim has no official backing from X. Cashtags launched April 14 for iPhone users in the United States and Canada with live charts and address lookup that route Canadian investors to Wealthsimple; Bier previously clarified that X would not execute trades or act as a brokerage, but would provide financial data tools and links. X has not publicly documented Cashtags, and its X Money product page does not mention crypto or trading.
