Spain’s producer price inflation accelerated to 9.2% in July 2026 from 7% in June, primarily as energy prices rose to 20.8% from 14.3%. The increase reflected stronger gains in electricity production, transport and distribution prices, while gas-related prices declined after rising in July 2025. Prices for intermediate goods increased to 6.8% from 6.6%, and durable consumer goods rose to 3.6% from 3.4%. Capital-goods inflation eased to 2.3% from 2.5%. Excluding energy, producer inflation edged down to 3.5% from 3.6%. Producer prices were flat month on month.
