Nova Minerals Corp has shipped nearly 500 tons of crushing, ore-sorting, milling, flotation and refining equipment to its Port MacKenzie site in Alaska, marking a major step toward construction of an antimony processing facility. The equipment, consolidated in Seattle after a six-month procurement and logistics effort, comprises more than 40 containers and multiple oversized loads. A barge departed Seattle on Aug. 26, 2026, and is expected to arrive in early September. Nova acquired a recently decommissioned modern processing plant and other equipment from across North America, allowing it to reduce costs and accelerate development. The modular facility is initially designed to process stibnite-bearing material into antimony trisulfide under a U.S. Department of War project, with potential future production of antimony metal and trioxide. The development is fully funded by a US$43.4 million Defense Production Act Title III award and targets first antimony production in 2027. The update follows an Aug. 24 visit by a Congressional delegation to Nova's Estelle Gold and Critical Minerals Project, which hosts two defined multi-million-ounce gold resources and more than 20 prospects along a 35-kilometre trend in Alaska's Tintina Gold Belt.
