Cisco is expanding its Secure AI Factory with Nvidia by adding Supermicro high-density liquid- and air-cooled rack-scale AI servers to its validated portfolio, marking the first time it will sell compute servers alongside networking gear as turnkey AI infrastructure from October 2026. The systems target Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72 and HGX Rubin NVL8 platforms, can exceed 200 kW per rack, and pair Cisco Silicon One front-end connectivity with Nvidia Spectrum-X back-end fabric under the Nexus One platform. Supermicro shares rose 9.35% to $38.46 on August 25, adding about $2 billion in market value, after the company posted fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $11.1 billion and guided fiscal 2027 revenue to $65 billion–$72 billion.
