Sun Life and Wilton Re have partnered to create Windsor Life Re, a reinsurer based in the U.S. and Bermuda. The venture is supported by $900 million in strategic capital commitments from the two companies and will initially reinsure $1.7 billion in-force business. The partnership combines their capabilities across life and annuity reinsurance and asset management.
