Realio Network suspended platform access on August 25, 2026, after attackers hijacked its signing stack and drained treasury and custodial wallets across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Algorand, Stellar and the Realio native chain. GoPlus Security reported 127.9 million RIO taken, worth about $6.2 million, with roughly $317,000 already cashed out, while an earlier independent on-chain tally put the sweep at 124.4 million RIO, about $6.3 million nominally, and realized proceeds near $234,480 amid thin liquidity. The platform had used a single hot signer through realio.fund to manage treasury, reserves and user custodial sub-accounts, allowing multi-chain transfers without user approval or rekeying once those permissions were obtained; no smart-contract exploit was involved. Realio halted its native chain and the realio.fund webapp, stopped user deposits and withdrawals, said it is preparing a recovery plan, and is working with law enforcement, while large balances remained on Stellar and Algorand and some exchange deposits were flagged.
