An informal poll at a bait shop in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, found more local support than opposition for newcomers expected to arrive and launch rockets in the rural area west of New Orleans. Owner Seth Chapman’s sticker-based tally recorded more than 100 yes votes, 72 opposed votes and a small number of undecided responses by last week.
