Chris Hemsworth has joined Archie Rose Distilling Co. as co-owner alongside founder Will Edwards, as the Sydney-based Australian distillery prepares to enter the United States for the first time with its whiskies in late 2026. Founded in 2014, Archie Rose describes itself as Australia's leading independent distillery, the country's largest whisky producer and a leading independent gin producer. It makes products on-site using Australian-grown malts, including rye and barley cultivated specifically for the company, along with locally sourced grains and native botanicals. The distillery separately mills, mashes, ferments, distils and matures each malt type, while its gins use cold distillation to preserve botanical character. Archie Rose says it has received more than 450 awards worldwide, including World's Best Rye Whisky twice, Australia's Best Single Malt Whisky five times and World's Best Gin. The company received B Corp Certification in June 2026. Three whiskies co-created with Hemsworth are planned for release across the United States, Asian markets and New Zealand in 2026, followed by expansion into the European Union and United Kingdom in 2027.
