Chris Hemsworth has become a co-owner of Archie Rose Distilling Co. alongside founder Will Edwards as the Australian independent distillery prepares to enter the United States market with its award-winning whiskies in late 2026. Founded in Sydney in 2014, Archie Rose uses Australian-grown malt, including rye and barley cultivated specifically for the company, as well as locally sourced grains and sustainably grown native botanicals. The distillery says it has received more than 450 awards worldwide, including twice being named the world's best rye whisky, five times being named Australia's best single-malt whisky and being named the world's best gin. Three whiskies developed with Hemsworth are also planned for markets in Asia and New Zealand in 2026, followed by launches in the European Union and the United Kingdom in 2027. Archie Rose received B Corp certification in June 2026 for its social and environmental practices, transparency and accountability.
