Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP alerted investors on Aug. 26, 2026, that a securities class action had been filed against PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation (NASDAQ: PRCT) over alleged disclosures and sales practices involving its single-use handpiece, a component of the company’s Aquablation therapy for enlarged-prostate patients. The proposed class covers investors who purchased or otherwise acquired PROCEPT common stock from Feb. 28, 2024, through Feb. 25, 2026, with a lead-plaintiff deadline of Sept. 22, 2026. The complaint alleges that an undisclosed discount program encouraged customers to place bulk orders during the final weeks of quarters, causing handpiece sales to exceed procedure demand, pulling revenue forward and leaving more than 10,000 excess units in customer inventories. PROCEPT disclosed deteriorating handpiece sales on Aug. 6, 2025, missed expectations again on Nov. 4, 2025, and on Feb. 25, 2026, reported that U.S. sales had exceeded procedures in every quarter since the first quarter of 2023, that sales fell 30% sequentially and that it was ending the discount program. Hagens Berman said the shares had declined $22.06, or more than 48%, from the Aug. 6, 2025, close by Feb. 25, 2026. A separate Levi & Korsinsky announcement cited a decline of more than 75% from approximately $100 to below $25 using a different reference period.
