Wix.com Ltd. faces a securities class action in the Northern District of Illinois after its shares fell 27% in mid-May following the company’s Q1 2026 results. The complaint alleges Wix misled investors about the competitiveness and performance of its AI products, Base44 and Harmony, while understating the costs of developing and marketing them. On May 13, 2026, Wix reported that front-loaded AI spending had driven non-GAAP sales and marketing expenses up 88% year over year to $190.7 million, while its non-GAAP operating margin fell from 21% to 5% and quarterly operating expenses rose 46%. The case, Yappi v. Wix.com Ltd., et al., No. 26-cv-08852, covers investors who acquired Wix securities between Feb. 19, 2025, and May 12, 2026. Hagens Berman is investigating the claims and says the lead plaintiff deadline is Sept. 22, 2026.
