Phantom will remove Sui from its wallet interface on Sept. 24, ending Sui balance displays, sends, swaps and decentralized-application connections. The assets will remain on the Sui blockchain, and users can restore access through compatible wallets. Options include swapping native SUI for supported assets, importing a recovery phrase into Slush or connecting through Ledger. Phantom’s fee waiver applies only to its fee on cross-chain swaps from native SUI to wrapped SUI on Solana; network and exchange fees still apply. The change illustrates how wallet interfaces can influence blockchain distribution and routine access without controlling users’ credentials or ownership. Phantom and Sui have not disclosed the reason for ending support or the number of affected users.
