South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit will temporarily suspend Cosmos (ATOM) deposits and withdrawals at 9:00 a.m. UTC on Sept. 2 during a network upgrade, and will pause Monad (MON) deposits and withdrawals from 11:00 a.m. UTC the same day to support a Monad hard fork. The MON halt is meant to stop transfers from being processed on incompatible protocol versions while Upbit updates its systems. The exchange has not said when MON services will resume, though similar windows often last several hours, and spot trading is expected to continue unless Upbit announces otherwise.
