Ringg, an Indian voice AI startup, has raised $10 million from Peak XV Partners in an extension of its Series A, bringing total funding in the round to $15.5 million after an earlier $5.5 million raise this year. The company processes 20 million call attempts a month and is targeting enterprise workflows such as healthcare appointment booking, e-commerce abandoned-cart recovery and fintech onboarding and KYC checks. More than 76% of consumers in India prefer speaking with businesses by phone, according to a recent Truecaller study, supporting demand for automated voice support and outreach. Ringg’s voice agents operate across 1,200 Practo clinics, while calls still account for more than 70% of its business. It is also expanding into chat, WhatsApp and browser-based support. The company has 40 employees and is hiring engineers and researchers as it competes with model makers, orchestration startups and sector-focused providers in India’s crowded voice AI market.
