Livestreamer Dishi, whose real name is Sun Zixuan, said Genesis Capital founder Sun Zeyu, an acquaintance of eight years, ran an alleged crypto scheme that cost him tens of millions of yuan, with one account putting the figure at about 30 million. Dishi said he had entrusted Sun to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum and other assets and also invested in an exchange Sun operated in South Korea. A professional investigation later found that some supposed Ethereum was not mainnet ETH but tokens on a private fork chain built for him, with only seven addresses—six linked to Sun and one to Dishi. Earlier successful cash-outs of several million yuan had reinforced trust. Dishi warned losses could have reached hundreds of millions if prices had risen further before discovery. Separate accounts from other alleged victims, including a roughly $300,000 Celestia proxy deal and about $1.5 million tied to BitRing founder Lu Zi, describe unpaid tokens or unexplained losses and subsequent loss of contact. As of the report, no police filing or court ruling had been announced.
