SenseTime Group Inc. (SenseTime-W, 0020.HK) reported first-half 2026 revenue of RMB 2.91 billion, up 23.4% year over year, and gross profit of RMB 1.21 billion, with the gross margin rising 2.9 percentage points to 41.4%. The company recorded its first IFRS profit since listing, at RMB 620 million, although its Non-IFRS adjusted net loss remained RMB 386 million. Generative AI revenue reached RMB 2.33 billion, nearly 80% of group revenue, while overseas revenue rose 127%. Recurring revenue was disclosed at RMB 1.14 billion, or 39.3% of total revenue. SenseTime said it is shifting from supplying models and computing power toward scaled delivery of trusted multimodal AI agents, with SenseNova 6.8-Flash and a planned 40,000-petaflop Hong Kong AI computing center among its next initiatives. Investors will watch product deployment, computing-center capital expenditure and the sustainability of overseas growth.
