CoinMarketCap has obtained a SOC 2 Type 1 attestation report and completed a SOC 1 Type 1 examination covering controls behind its market data systems. The reports assess security controls and controls relevant to internal control over financial reporting as of a specified date, and are available to partners and clients on request. They add to the company’s ISO/IEC 27001:2022 information-security and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 privacy-management certifications, awarded by the British Standards Institution in June 2026. The assessments cover market data, price tracking, APIs, cloud systems, operational processes, account management, personally identifiable information, and CoinMarketCap’s iOS and Android applications. The company said the credentials provide independently examined evidence for partners, procurement teams, compliance functions and institutional clients that rely on its data and APIs.
