REX, BMO set to launch first 3× MaNGoS ETN under MNGU ticker

BMO and REX Shares are rolling out the MicroSectors 3x Long MANGOS+ ex Private Companies ETN under the ticker MNGU, with trading scheduled to begin on NYSE Arca on Aug. 27, 2026. The launch marks the first product to use the newer MaNGoS acronym. MNGU provides 3x daily leveraged exposure to the NYSE MaNGoS+ Index, an equally weighted basket of 10 publicly traded U.S. companies involved in the artificial-intelligence supply chain. The index excludes privately held Anthropic and OpenAI and adds other large AI companies. Estimated Aug. 25 weights included Palantir at about 13.1%, Microsoft at 12.8%, NVIDIA at 10.3%, Meta Platforms at 9.9% and SpaceX at 7.7%. Other constituents are Taiwan Semiconductor, Advanced Micro Devices, Broadcom and Micron. As an ETN, MNGU is an unsecured debt obligation of BMO rather than a fund holding the underlying shares, exposing investors to BMO's credit risk as well as the risks of daily-reset leverage. The investor fee is waived through Jan. 31, 2027, after which the annual rate is 0.95%. Because leverage resets each day, longer-term returns can differ substantially from three times the index's cumulative performance, particularly in volatile markets.
