Julian Berridi, product manager at Ripple, announced on X on August 25, 2026, that xrpl.js and xrpl-py now support XRP Ledger version 3.3.0. The JavaScript/TypeScript and Python libraries help developers access ledger data, submit transactions and interact with XRP Ledger APIs using language-specific tools. Support for Java was due to be released that night or the following day. Version 3.3.0 of xrpld, the reference server implementation, launched on August 6, 2026, introducing six amendments, including atomic batch transactions, privacy-preserving Multi-Purpose Token transfers, immutable Multi-Purpose Token properties, granular account permission delegation, reserve and transaction sponsoring under XLS-68, and amendment-gated bug fixes. The Clawback, fixDisallowIncomingV1, fixInnerObjTemplate, fixNFTokenReserve and fixUniversalNumber amendments were retired after the release and became permanent protocol features. The fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment had reached 77.14% support, according to XRPScan data, as it approached majority.
