The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned the Italian organization Autistici Inventati, the British organization Palestine Action and the transnational organization Masar Badil under Executive Order 13224, as amended. OFAC also designated Masar Badil leaders Zaid Abdulnasser and Rawa Alsagheer. Treasury said Autistici Inventati provides digital infrastructure and technical services to anti-fascist groups and other violent far-left extremist organizations. It said the British government proscribed Palestine Action as a terrorist organization in July 2025 and described Masar Badil as a front for the already sanctioned group Samidoun with links to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The action blocks all property and interests in property of the designated parties in the United States or under the control of US persons, who are generally barred from transacting with them. Autistici Inventati, also known as A/I Collective, was previously described by the State Department as an Italy-based technology collective offering encrypted communications and online hosting services, including email, web hosting, secure chat and video conferencing. The collective reportedly manages roughly 16,000 mailboxes, 1,500 websites, 5,500 mailing lists and 10,000 blogs. The sanctions broaden the case from a focus on a digital infrastructure provider to a wider action involving organizations and individual leaders. The announcements do not mention cryptocurrency assets or other digital financial tools associated with Autistici Inventati.
