Revolution Medicines shares rose after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Rasonque (daraxonrasib), a once-daily oral RAS-targeted therapy, for adults with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma who received prior systemic therapy or cannot tolerate combination chemotherapy. In Phase 3 RASolute 302, median overall survival nearly doubled to 13.2 months from 6.7 months versus chemotherapy, death risk fell 60%, and the drug required no mutation-specific companion test. The FDA advanced the review by more than six months under breakthrough and orphan designations. Revolution set a $39,800 monthly list price, analysts raised targets, and the stock has surged sharply this year as the company and rivals advance broader RAS programs, including first-line and KRAS G12D candidates.
