Waystar (Nasdaq: WAY) unveiled new AltitudeAI-powered agentic capabilities on Aug. 26, 2026, designed to act across healthcare revenue cycle workflows with less human intervention. Built on proprietary data spanning more than 7.5 billion healthcare payment transactions and approximately 60% of U.S. patients, the launch includes what Waystar describes as the industry’s first autonomous claim resubmission system, conversational analytics, clinical documentation agents and a patient financial concierge. Waystar says payers ultimately reimburse about 70% of initially denied claims, while early users of its conversational analytics reported up to a 75% reduction in analysis time. The company expects its clinical documentation tool to reduce review time by about 25%. The launch followed the appointment of Amit Khanna as chief product and technology officer and Todd Woods as chief commercial officer. Waystar processes more than $2.4 trillion in annual gross claims and serves more than 30,000 clients representing over 1 million providers.
