Apple is set to launch its first foldable iPhone on September 9, 2026, with AI models forecasting a stock price increase of around 10.6% by that date. The prediction combines insights from ChatGPT, DeepSeek Chat, and Google Gemini. The company will host its fall product event on that date at Apple Park in Cupertino, shortly after John Ternus succeeds Tim Cook as CEO on September 1. The event is expected to feature the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max with Apple’s A20 Pro chip and variable-aperture cameras, alongside the company’s first foldable iPhone. Standard iPhone 18 models are not expected at the event. Marketing chief Greg Joswiak posted the invitation with the tagline “Surprise and shine,” while the keynote will give Ternus his first major opportunity to present his vision for Apple, including a possible stronger emphasis on AI-powered devices. Apple shares, trading near $313, are up 15.13% this year but remain below their July peak. Memory shortages and the higher cost of foldable hardware may push iPhone prices toward $1,500.
