Berger Montague PC announced a class action lawsuit against Hub Group, Inc. on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired the company’s securities between April 28, 2023, and May 11, 2026. Investors have until August 28, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff representative. Hub Group, a transportation and logistics company based in Oak Brook, Illinois, provides freight transportation and supply chain solutions across North America. The complaint alleges that the company said on February 5, 2026, that its financial statements for the first three quarters of 2025 should no longer be relied upon and would be restated because purchased transportation costs and accounts payable had been understated. Hub Group estimated the total reduction related to the issue at $77 million, and its stock fell about 18%, from $51.33 to $41.96 per share, between February 5 and February 6. On May 12, 2026, the company disclosed that certain transactions had been prematurely or incorrectly recognized or were not adequately supported, materially misstating its 2023 and 2024 annual reports. Hub Group also said it expected to conclude that it had not maintained effective disclosure controls and procedures or effective internal control over financial reporting for 2023 and 2024. Its stock declined another 13%, from $41.86 on May 11 to $36.62 on May 12. The case remains an allegation, and the court has not determined liability.
