Havenex, an Austrian company advised by Sui co-founder Kostas “Kryptos” Chalkias, said on Aug. 26 that its Series A is nearing completion as it pursues authorization from Austria’s Financial Market Authority. Funding size, investors, valuation and closing date remain undisclosed, and the firm states it cannot offer regulated services until approval is granted. The Vienna-registered platform aims to supply white-label infrastructure so banks and other professional institutions can offer digital and traditional assets, including trading, custody, staking, tokenization, settlement and wallet services. Planned controls include verifiable custody, continuous solvency proofs, multisignature custody, quantum-resistant keys, hardware two-factor authentication, self-custody and key-recovery protections, though these features are not yet publicly verified. Chalkias sits on the supervisory board alongside Adeniyi Abiodun and Petros Pyloridis while remaining focused on Mysten Labs and Sui; Gregorios Siourounis is listed as management board member. Sui technology will be used where suitable within a multi-chain design. Next milestones center on FMA authorization, Series A disclosures and technical documentation.
