Nvidia's expected fiscal second-quarter earnings beat is no longer the main market question, with investors instead focused on AI capital spending and revenue prospects for next year. Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh forecasts adjusted earnings per share of $2.08 and revenue of $92 billion, but expects Nvidia's actual results to exceed those estimates by a wide margin. He maintained an outperform rating and a $300 price target. Rakesh said Wall Street's forecast of $550 billion in AI revenue next year is too conservative, arguing that Nvidia's recent financing agreement with a Wall Street consortium and SpaceX's plan to build a 10-gigawatt-scale solar factory in Austin could together generate an additional $400 billion-$500 billion in AI revenue.
