21Shares shifts seven U.S. crypto ETFs to FTSE benchmarks and revises fee schedules

21Shares is replacing CME CF benchmarks with FTSE indices across seven U.S. single-asset ETFs, including the 21Shares XRP ETF, or TOXR, beginning Aug. 27, 2026. TOXR will use the FTSE XRP Index to calculate its net asset value instead of the CME CF XRP–Dollar Reference Rate, New York Variant. The change does not add token exposure, require a new regulatory approval or alter the fund’s legal structure, custody or investment strategy, and 21Shares expects no material impact on NAV or operating results. Sponsor fees will be collected at least quarterly in crypto assets rather than weekly in arrears. The XRP fund, which debuted on Cboe BZX on Dec. 11, 2025, had about $149.7 million in assets under management as of Aug. 26, while the wider U.S. spot XRP ETF market had attracted more than $1.55 billion in cumulative net inflows and set a record $125 million in daily volume on Aug. 20. Goldman Sachs disclosed $86.5 million in XRP exposure across several ETFs in its second-quarter filings. 21Shares said the FTSE switch aligns its U.S. products with its European and Australian ETPs and improves consistency for multi-region portfolios.
