Qantas Airways has seen a rebound in demand for flights between Australia and the U.S. in both directions and has enough capacity available to meet it, Qantas International and Freight CEO Cam Wallace told analysts on Thursday. The airline is very happy with the routes' performance over the past six months. Qantas had reported weaker international results in the first half of the financial year ended June 30, as softness in the Australian dollar increased the cost of U.S. trips for Australian customers. It responded by reallocating some capacity to destinations including Singapore and Europe.
