Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) called President Donald Trump the most corrupt president in American history, citing disclosures that he earned more than $1.4 billion from cryptocurrency ventures in 2025. The total included over $520 million from World Liberty Financial token sales and more than $635 million in royalties from the Official Trump memecoin (cryptocurrency created around a public figure or theme). Warren also criticized Trump Media and Technology Group Corp.'s service charging $60,000 to $100,000 a month for early access to posts from 10 prominent Truth Social accounts, including Trump's. Two media organizations have sued over the service. She further questioned the conversion of a Qatari 747 that Trump received as a gift into the new Air Force One, a project experts say could cost taxpayers more than $1 billion and take several years. Warren has repeatedly opposed Trump's crypto ventures and criticized the Clarity Act, while Trump says his crypto earnings were neither illegal nor wrong. The White House said the administration acts in the best interest of the American people and rejected conflict-of-interest claims involving Trump or his family.
