Chainlink has deployed Data Feeds on Base for Coinbase tokenized versions of Nvidia, Meta, Apple and Alphabet shares, allowing compatible DeFi lending platforms to value NVDAc, METAc, AAPLc and GOOGLc as collateral. Coinbase said the four stocks had been brought onchain, with Aerodrome serving as a trading venue, and promoted a scheduled Thursday livestream at 10 a.m. ET featuring Aerodrome’s wagmiAlexander and a discussion of whether a decentralized exchange can outperform traditional brokers on execution. The promotion also questioned why U.S. users cannot buy the onchain assets. The B20 tokens are issued by Coinbase Onchain SPV Ltd. under prospectuses approved by the Abu Dhabi Global Market's Financial Services Regulatory Authority and backed one-to-one by shares held by Alpaca Securities, which acts as broker and custodian. Aave, Morpho and Euler are preparing or offering lending markets, while Aerodrome, 0x, 1inch, KyberSwap and CoW Swap provide liquidity or trading infrastructure. Chainlink's feeds report total-return values that include dividend-reinvestment adjustments, but pricing coverage is weaker in overnight sessions and may remain unchanged on weekends. The tokens are unavailable to U.S. investors under Regulation S. Verified holders can redeem for the underlying stock, U.S. dollars or USDC subject to a 0.05% fee, while unvested holders acquired through DeFi cannot redeem or submit voting instructions.
