China’s A-share market closed broadly higher, with the Shanghai Composite up 1.13%, the Shenzhen Component gaining 1.5% and the ChiNext Index adding 1.71%. The STAR 50 Index rose more than 3.5%. Combined turnover in Shanghai and Shenzhen reached 2.13 trillion yuan, an increase of 317.2 billion yuan from the previous trading day, and more than 3,300 stocks advanced. Market leadership rotated rapidly, with memory-chip, PCB (printed circuit board), CPO (co-packaged optics), optical-fiber, gold and agriculture shares among the stronger groups. Power-grid equipment stocks weakened.
