Deutsche Bank has selected Thought Machine's Vault Core platform as its new core banking system (central infrastructure for banking products and services), seeking to reduce the number of systems in its retail division from 15 to two. The bank described the choice as an important milestone in its multi-year technology infrastructure transformation. The move follows problems with the integration of Postbank, including customer complaints that they were locked out of their accounts and unable to reach call centers.
