Gudeng Precision Industrial (3680.TW) reported record July revenue of NT$871 million, up 15.81% month on month and 71.69% year on year, lifting first-seven-month revenue 29% to NT$5.05 billion. The company expects second-half revenue to exceed the first half as fully utilized capacity supports extreme ultraviolet (EUV) pods, photomask carriers and wafer carriers, also known as FOUPs (front-opening wafer transport containers). Advanced packaging carriers, overseas expansion, South Korean composite products and an Arizona plant scheduled for fourth-quarter trial production provide additional growth avenues. Separately, Yunnan Germanium (002428.SZ) reported first-half 2026 revenue of 732 million yuan, up 38.21% year on year, while net profit attributable to shareholders rose 235.31% to 74.27 million yuan. Compound semiconductor revenue increased 154.57% and benefited from AI and data-center demand for indium phosphide (InP) wafers used in high-speed optical communications. Its subsidiary signed an InP substrate supply contract valued at 570 million yuan to 855 million yuan, although the company cautioned that the InP business remains relatively small and its effect on overall performance is uncertain.
