Bitfinex Securities has opened a $50 million tokenized capital raise for Luxembourg-based Alkemya Metacore, announced August 27, ahead of a planned ALKN listing for eligible investors. The instrument is linked to a stockpile of about 7 million meters of high-purity nickel wire held in Swiss custody and valued at roughly $1.6 billion, used across semiconductors, aerospace, defense and industrial systems. Earlier materials framed ALKN as limited partnership interests in Alkemya Metacore SCSp backed by about 7.03 million linear meters of 99.99% pure NP1-grade inventory independently valued between $1.6 billion and $1.64 billion, with $1 tokens, an indicated intrinsic launch value near $2.05, an 800 million-token cap and a $120,000 minimum for qualified investors. Proceeds are earmarked for operating subsidiary Green Transitional Metals to develop and commercialize engineered nickel products, including electromagnetic-interference shielding, green hydrogen systems and recovery of rare and precious metals. Bitfinex Securities described ALKN as the first tokenized commodity offering under El Salvador’s digital-asset framework, though secondary listing remains subject to admission, with no disclosed secondary volume, liquidity commitment or market maker yet identified.
