TermMax receives strategic investment from YZi Labs

YZi Labs invested in TermMax, a decentralized finance protocol offering fixed-rate, fixed-term lending across blockchain networks, with the deal announced on August 27 on undisclosed terms. The protocol, built by Term Structure Labs, was selected for YZi Labs' EASY Residency Season 3 and has raised over $8 million total, including a 2023 seed round led by Cumberland DRW and support from HashKey Capital, Decima Fund, Longling Capital, and MZ Web3 Fund. Operating on 10 EVM-compatible chains with 60 fixed-rate markets and 40 strategy vaults, TermMax holds tens of millions in TVL and over 1.5 million registered wallets. Its native token TMX completed its TGE on August 25. YZi Labs cited the underdeveloped options and risk-transfer products for tokenized equities, now at $2.48 billion in on-chain assets. Co-founder and CEO Jerry Li emphasized building observable interest rate curves for assets already on-chain after 25 years in traditional finance.
