Producer prices increased year-on-year in Austria, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Malaysia in July 2026, although Bulgaria’s annual rate eased to 13.7% from 17.1% in June. Austria’s rate rose to 3.3%, its highest since April 2023, while North Macedonia’s increased to 6.5%, the highest since March 2025, and Malaysia’s climbed to 9.7%, the strongest since June 2022. Bulgaria’s slowdown reflected weaker price growth in mining and quarrying, manufacturing, and electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply. Austria’s increase was led by intermediate goods and energy, North Macedonia saw faster growth across several industrial categories, and Malaysia’s producer-cost pressures continued to reflect supply disruptions linked to the Middle East conflict. Monthly producer prices rose in Austria, Bulgaria and Malaysia, while they were unchanged in North Macedonia.
